This reimagined LA28 logo modernizes a classic, drawing direct inspiration from the bold star-and-motion design of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. By pairing a clean blue “LA” with a dynamic red star formed from horizontal streaks, the mark balances nostalgia with modern clarity. The negative space of the star is intentionally integrated into the “A,” creating a seamless connection between the city’s identity and its Olympic spirit. Unlike the more complex interchangeable “A” of the official LA28 identity, this design emphasizes simplicity, legibility, and timeless recognition. Its geometry and motion lines make it versatile across merchandise, signage, broadcast, and digital platforms—scaling seamlessly from stadium banners to phone screens. The result is a logo that honors Los Angeles’ Olympic heritage while projecting a bold, unmistakable identity for the future.
